PC System Specs for Battlefield 3 Released

EA has detailed the minimum and recommended system specs for Battlefield 3, and it isn't looking good for gamers who haven't upgraded their rig in a few years.  While you can run the game on lower settings using an older machine, the minimum specs require at least Vista as your operating system, and it is recommended that you use Windows 7, along with a quad core processor, four gigs of RAM and a full gig of VRAM.

Of course, Battlefield is targeted at the hardcore crowd, so this is a great excuse to do some upgrades. Does your rig meet the recommended specs?  Sound off in the comments below.
