Remember when you could get digital comics on your PSP? I say remember because that’s all you’re going to have: memories. Sony has decided to call it quits on the 18-month-old service. If you didn’t know, it basically offered downloadable comics from publishers, by the likes of Marvel, DC Comics, Devil's Due, IDW Publishing and so on.
They made it to roughly 4,000 different comics. Which isn’t too bad, plus you still will have access to their library through the Playstation store. Don’t look for digital comics to go anywhere soon. This looks to be more of a case of the unit showing its age, rather than the content. I’m sure with the PlayStation Vita just around the corner, the service will be back in no time.
