Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies Gets Priced, Dated

The next installment of Capcom’s Phoenix Wright series, subtitled Dual Destinies, will be released exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS’ eShop on October 24th for $29.99.

The first installment with a M-rating, Dual Destinies will include one of its DLC episodes, “Turnabout Return,” as well as a costume pack with its Western release. The other “deduction quiz” DLC will not leave Japan due to Capcom believing that Westerners won’t know enough of Japanese culture to complete it.

Dual Destinies marks a successful return of the Ace Attorney series along with Level 5’s Professor Layton Vs. Ace Attorney, due out in 2014. The last installment of the franchise, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth 2 (a spinoff to the main Ace Attorney series starring the prosecutor Miles Edgeworth), did not get a Western release. Those who took advantage of the free $30 from buying Shin Megami Tensei 4 and Fire Emblem Awakening might have found something to spend that free dough on.
