Playing ME3 and Reckoning Demos gets you Bonuses

In case you haven’ heard already both Mass Effect 3 and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning are getting demos in the coming weeks and playing both will unlock bonus items for the other.

Similar to what EA did with Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 and Dead Space and Dragon Age 2 (except you had to have the full games for those unlocks) playing the demo for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning will grant access to two items in ME3.  The first is the Reckoner Knight Armor – which increases close range damage and improves velocity of ranged weapon projectiles, and the second is the Chakram Launcher, it fires light-weight explosive discs.

Likewise playing ME3’s demo will give you an armor set for Reckoning simply called N7 that happens to look like Commander Shepards default suit, but obviously in Reckonings fantasy style as well as a pair of holographic daggers made to look like the new Omniblades featured in ME3. If you plan on picking up Reckoning playing the demo also unlocks three items for the full game, those being the Twist of Fate Card, Twinned Souls Chakram and Infernal Helm; all with various stat boosts and bonuses.

As far as is known these will work across all platforms so long as you are using the same EA account to log in to both the demos and the full games.
