Much like the Emperor Palpatine taunting Luke with his lightsaber in Return of the Jedi, the marketing team at Razer is saying "You want this..." And yes, you DO want these new Star Wars-themed gaming accessories.
The set includes a keyboard, mouse, headphones and mouse pad each featuring interchangeable Sith Lord and Galactic Republic logos, so that you can embrace your faction when you play Star Wars The Old Republic. And the whole set is designed with a Star Wars-ish sense of aesthetics, including glowing light-sabery backlighting.
Aside from the way they look, these accessories are all MMO-optimized, with lots of extra, programmable buttons for gaming. If you're familiar with some of Razer's gaming accessories, you'll know that these features work and are far from over-complex gimicks. The mouse is definitely something to keep an eye on, as it uses a design similar to the Razer Naga MMO mouse, which I personally recommend.
These items are a little pricier than their non-Star Wars counterparts, with the Keyboard costing $200, the mouse and headset at $130, and the mouse pad at a whopping fifty dollars. They'll be available at launch for The Old Republic.
