Shadow of the Eternals Gains Kickstarter Campaign

Precursor Games has shifted the crowdfunding campaign for Shadow of the Eternals to Kickstarter. The campaign was originally on Precursor’s official site and Precursor notes the Kickstarter “will run in parallel with our existing website crowdfunding campaign." The Kickstarter page was created in order to give potential pledgers “even more options to contribute to the game.”

Precursor said “those who have already supported on the Shadow Of Eternals website will be rewarded with an exclusive ‘Whateley Expose,’ a digital collection of materials containing lore, manuscripts and clues that the Order of the Unseen has collected over the years. They will also be given an extra forum badge called ‘Resolute’ in acknowledgement of their fearless contributions.”

Some footage of the game can be seen below.

The following changes have also been made to contribution tiers for Kickstarter:

Magickal Supporter $100 tier rewards package now includes The Art of Shadow of the Eternals digital book. People who have already donated to this particular tier will also receive The Art of Shadow of the Eternals.

Insane Supporter $5000 tier now offers additional ways to contribute a piece of creative content to the game, such as a Sanity Event, artwork, music, or storyline.

Shadow of the Eternals is seeking $1,500,000 to fund a six-episode game headed to Wii U and PC to start. The Kickstarter is looking for $1,350,000 for their campaign.

The website campaign currently has 23 days remaining, while the Kickstarter campaign has 36. Precursor’s site has earned $156,000 as of this writing, and the Kickstarter campaign has earned $12,000.
