Shadow Warrior is a long forgotten FPS PC game that was released in 1997 from the creators of Duke Nukem 3D, the game attempted to parody bad kung-fu movies by pouring Eastern themes all over using the tech from the Duke Nukem series. While Shadow Warrior was one of the first games to really put the Build engine through its paces, it never achieved the fame of Duke Nukem and was forgotten about in time.
So it now comes as a bit of a surprise that Shadow Warrior is being rehashed by developers Flying Wild Hog. The new game will be a “bold re-imagining” of the late-’90s shooter.
Shadow Warrior is scheduled for release this fall and we will see how the game does as soon as it's released.
