Turn off the Lights

‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’ pushed back to August 2014

Another movie has had its released date moved: this time round it is the Sin City sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For was originally set for a October 4, 2013 release date but now Collider has reported that the movie has been pushed back to August 22, 2014.

Since 2005 Sin City has been become a cult hit, but the sequel has been hit by many delays and production troubles. Filming only begun in February and it would have been tough task for the movie to be ready for that release date due to the Special Effects and Green Screen work needed.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For
sees a number of new cast members joining the action, including Josh Brolin, Jamie Chung, Ray Liotta, Juno Temple, Dennis Haysbert and Eva Green as the dame in question. In the meantime fans of Robert Rodriguez still have Machete Kills to look forward to with a September 13, 2013 release date.

Recently G.I. Retaliation’s release date was pushed back by nine months and was a financial success, but Jack the Giant Slayer is considered one of the biggest big office bombs of 2013. Another Frank Miller property, 300: Rise of an Empire also had its release date pushed back to March 7, 2014.
