If you ever doubted that the PC version of Skyrim was better than the Xbox 360, now’s the time to think again. Bethesda Softworks has finally released the official modding tools on Steam, which when downloaded will allow you to create your own quests, dungeons and more, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced modder. Steam has also released the official Workshop, meaning you can easily discover, rate, and download Skyrim mods created by other people, directly through the PC-only Steam.
The Steam Workshop makes it easy to browse the most popular, newest or highest-rated mods of all time, as well as searching for specific content such as “Armor”, “Quests”, and “Dungeons”. You can also add anything you like to your favorites, and if you find an extra special mod that you can’t be without, just subscribe and the next time you play Skyrim, the launcher will install the mod for you, and configure the game to run them. Piece of Cake!
