Sonic: Lost World Getting The Legend of Zelda Zone DLC

Sonic: Lost World is getting one more DLC stage based on one of the more popular Nintendo franchises: The Legend of Zelda.

Teased last December at a Nintendo Direct and announced via IGN, this stage will have Sonic, complete with Link’s tunic and hat, speed past the land of Hyrule. Unlike the Yoshi’s Island Zone, the Legend of Zelda Zone seems much more adventure-ish, with side paths and many different regions. The stage is obviously for fan service since many of the components in the stage come from many different Zelda games, with Stalfos and Deku Scrubs from Ocarina of Time, Link and his Loftwing from Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess’ Hyrule Castle.

The Legend of Zelda Zone for Sonic Lost World will release for free on the Wii U eShop tomorrow, March 27, 2013.
