Sony Music launches The Music of DC Comics
Yay??? I guess this is cool for all the Hardcore DC fans out there. Global recorded music company Sony Music has launched a special collection of theme songs of DC comics' superhero films. Titled "The Music of DC Comics: 75th Anniversary Collection", the
collection highlights DC Comics' rich musical history including many
theme songs that have never been released before.
It begins with a 1941 theme song from Max Fleischer's Academy Award
Nominated "Superman" cartoons. It also includes the old as well as the
new theme songs of "Justice League" and "Green Lantern". Songs from Hanna Barbera's "Super Friends" cartoons, "Wonder Woman"
series as well as "Batman" TV show have also been incorporated in the
collection.
