Splinter Cell: Black List To Be Revealed at E3

The sequel to Splinter Cell: Conviction may be an upcoming release in January 2013 on consoles including Wii U. Reportedly, it is said to be released sometime in January on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U.

Claiming to have seen a promo for the game, a NeoGAF poster says Sam Fisher  "is looking good as always with no grey hair, full body suit, and his mighty night goggles, including a serious look on his face.” The forumite continues to state that Black List is a direct sequel to 2010's Splinter Cell: Conviction and that the plot is based on his enemies targeted as "Blacklist.”

Jade Raymond, the former Assassin’s Creed producer and Ubisoft Toronto spoke about the new Splinter Cell game saying, “It will have all the action flick elements for sure, but we’re trying to also explore something a little bit more interesting that is actually one of the themes that’s at the root of the franchise historically but never has been surfaced so much.” Reportedly in February, a leaked 2012 Ubisoft release schedule mentioned a new game called Splinter Cell: Retribution

The only way to be entirely sure though is to wait to see what new games are released at E3. I, for one, truly hope this is correct information, as I love the Splinter Cell franchise and have wanted a new game since Conviction.
