To the disappointment of many fans of the American The Office, Steve Carell sadly won't drop by to say one more "That's what she said" as (former) "World's Best Boss" Michael Scott, in the series finale come this May.
As Carell confirms to Access Hollywood, "I just didn’t think it was right for the character, because that character had an arc within the story and kind of grew and evolved past the idea of the documentary."
I admit that I'm also bummed out by this. As someone who did lose interest in the series once Michael Scott tearfully left the building, I definitely would've liked to see the character Steve Carell was so brilliant at one more time. I mean, I'm going to watch the series finale like millions of others, but having something to really look forward to would, well, make it worth looking forward to.
But hey, at least YouTube exists, am I right?
