Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition Announced For PC and Consoles

To absolutely no one's surprise, Capcom has announced yet another version of Super Street Fighter IV for PC and Consoles.  The new one is called Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, although we probably won't have to wait too long before it's up to Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition Championship Turbo Hyper-fighting.
It comes out in Sumer 2011 for PC, XBox, and Playstation, and will inflate the roster to 39 playable characters, including 4 new ones like Yun and Yang who first appeared in Street Fighter IOI, along with "Evil Ryu" from Street Fighter Alpha 2, as well a new character named Oni.  There are no details on what sort of fighting style Oni will use or what he/she/it will look like.  Aside from more characters to master, this edition also ads some, as yet unspecified, balancing refinements, along with an updated Replay Channel.

If you already own Super Street Fighter IV, you can get the additional content as a DLC, and if you're somehow new to the franchise, you can buy Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition as a stand-alone disk.  There has been no word yet on whether or not a DLC pack is in the works for the awesome 3DS version of Super Street Fighter IV, though.  Check back with us for updates as they come in.
