Tormenting Puzzles On Sale This Week

There’s a tornado warning today in New York City, so I’ll spend the day cowering inside, playing with all the cheap games I’ll buy with these Mid-Week sales.  Even if there’s no tornado scare where you live, it’s not a bad idea to stock up… just in case.

Impulsedriven.com has a bunch of things on sale, but you might want to take a look at this trilogy of Sci-fi titles from Meridian 4; for $12.49 you can grab Dark Matter, Shadowgrounds, and Space Hack.  Between them all, you can ride out any weather-related emergency.

Gamersgate.com is in the middle of Puzzle Week, selling twenty-three puzzlers for up to 60% off, including the oh-so-addictive Puzzlequest for five dollars!
Gog.com pulled a fast one on us last week, by pretending to close down as part of a publicity stunt, yet I would be remiss in my duties if I failed to mention that they’re now selling Planescape Torment for $9.99.  That’s just ten bucks for one of the best RPG’s ever made.

Direct2Drive is in the final days of their big sixth anniversary, which means they have a bunch of games going for six dollars, but they also have a daily deal.  Today they’re practically giving away a bundle of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and its sequel Call of Pripyat for ten dollars.  There’s some racing game on sale too, but you want the Stalker bundle…

Finally, Steam's Mid-week Madness sale this week is Cities XL on sale for 75% off (That's 4.99 for the Regular Edition and $6.24 for the Limited Edition).  Steam also has Everyday Genius: Square Logic for a mere two dollars and forty-nine cents right now.
