Trailer Watch: Tom Hardy Goes Wild In ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’

"The first full trailer finally arrives!"
Warner Bros. has released a few different vibrant teasers for director George Miller's upcoming long-awaited sequel to the post-apocalyptic Mad Max trilogy. Now, the highly anticipated movie gets a full trailer with a sense of plot, more dialogue, and more striking imagery. Check it out below:

According to Deadline, Tom Hardy (Locke) stars as “Mad” Max Rockatansky and the movie is set in a world in which gangs clash over scare petrol and water resources. Haunted by his turbulent past, Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. But he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa (Charlize Theron). They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne), from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows. Nicholas Hoult, Nathan Jones, Zoë Kravitz, Riley Keough, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Abbey Lee and Courtney Eaton also star.

The movie made news last week as it secured an out-of-competition spot at the Cannes Film Festival, where it will screen on May 14, 2015. Domestic release will follow on May 15, 2015. Soon, the public will get to see if Mad Max: Fury Road delivers the thrills and excitement of the original Mel Gibson-starring trilogy. Based on this trailer, it appears the new movie captures the wild and uninhibited action of the series.
