Two more actors join Christopher Nolan’s ‘Interstellar’

Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi follow up to The Dark Knight Rises, Interstellar is one of the most anticipated movies of 2014 and it has already has an impressive cast with the likes of Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Casey Affleck. Now The Wrap and The Hollywood Reporter have joined the cast, Ellen Burstyn and MacKenzie Foy.



At 80-years-old Ellen Burstyn is a highly regarded actress, winning an Academy Award for Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore and been nominated for performances in movies such The Exorcist, Requiem for a Dream and The Last Picture Show. She is certainly an actress of the highest calibre and would be a great addition to the list of actors who have worked with Christopher Nolan.




MacKenzie Foy is a child actress whom biggest role to date has been playing Renesmee, the daughter of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2. She is set to appear in the horror-thriller The Conjuring which is going to be released this weekend. The Conjuring also features Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson.

Like other Christopher Nolan projects information about the plot of Interstellar is being kept underwraps. Christopher Nolan has written the movie with his brother Jonathan Nolan and it is set to be based on ideas of theoretical physicist Kip Thorne. The basic story that we are aware of is the movie focuses on a group of explorers who travel through a wormhole into another dimension.

Interstellar is set to be released on November 7 2014.
