It appears yet more games have been outed by retailers before even being announced. This time UK retailer GAME have made both the ‘Ultimate Far Cry compilation’ and the oddly titled ‘Ultimate Splinter Cell’ available for preorder on the site with a release date of TBA. Could an announcement of these games by Ubisoft be just around the corner?
Right now this is all rumor and speculation, but it would make sense given the timing. With a new Splinter Cell game coming soon it would be smart to presumably bundle all the previous games so people can catch up on the series before playing Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Also with Far Cry 3 being a fairly big success after a slow start to the franchise they will want to capitalise on this success and re-release the previous games many fans of Far Cry 3 won’t have already played.
As always take this with a grain of salt for the meantime. Until we have confirmation from Ubisoft, just stick to playing Far Cry 3 and looking forward to Splinter Cell: Blacklist.
