Turn off the Lights

Unreal-Engine-4-On-PlayStation-4

Unreal Engine 4 has finally been shown running on PlayStation 4 hardware. The demo is an extended version of the one that was shown off at E3 last year. Showcasing even more environmental destructability, Unreal Engine 4 will be a powerhouse on Sony's upcoming system.

There does seem to be a litle big of lag in the video woth some of the falling objects in the later half of the video. This may be because it is a Youtube video, but this could also be a hardware issue. Obviously, the PlayStation 4 is not as powerful as a PC on ultra settings, and this means that next-generation games may not quite as many features. Luckily the difference is neglibable, and eager gamers can expect some truly beautiful games when the PlayStation 4 launches this holiday season.
