Weekend Deals Memorial Day Edition

With Monday off to honor our veterans, the best way to show our support is by calling in sick to work tomorrow and killing the hell out of virtual Nazis, Commies, and Terrorists for 96 hours straight.  So chug some energy drinks and get ready for this extra long weekend with these online game sales.

Today's installment of Steam's Ubisoft week is the Farcry franchise, and you can get Farcry for $2.50 and Farcry 2 for $5.00, with a whole penny off if you buy them both together at $7.49.  They also have a Daily Deal on Evil Genius, the Bond Villain sim game.  It's just five dollars and definitely worth checking out if you like a little humor in your games.

Steam is also holding a Weekend Deal on Total War: Shotgun 2, the excellent Strategy game from Sega.  It's yours for $33.49 this weekend, but hold off on buying Shogun 2 at Steam, because Direct2Drive.com is selling it for four cents less.  D2D is also selling the MMO Earthrise for $20.95  and Aion for $14.95.

GamesForWindows.com has Plants VS Zombies marked down to $4.99 until next Thursday, which will give you some training in defending your lawn, just in case the zombie apocalypse happens during your Memorial Day bar-b-q.
