Weekend PC Game Sales Friday March 16th

The digital distributors are pulling out all the stops this weekend, with plenty of amazing sales on some games that just hit the market, plus a .99 sale on a D&D classic.  Now that you've finished your second run-through of Mass Effect 3 you should have a clear weekend ahead for your next gaming obsession!

Steam has two deals this weekend, the first is Dungeon Defenders which is free to play until Sunday afternoon, and the game, plus its DLC are on sale for half off until Monday morning. That makes the game $7.49 and the various DLC packs as low as .99 each.  Steam is also selling the sea-faring city-building game Anno 2070 for 40% off at $29.99 with the Deluxe Edition at $32.99.  Alas, the DLC packs are still going for full price.

Gog.com has a sale on five shooter games by Apogee.  These include a couple of old Duke Nukem games, two Blake Stone games, and Rise of the Triad.  They're all going for $2.99 which is half off the usual price.

ImpulseDriven.com has a nice selection of recent hit games on sale this weekend.  Among them are Batman Arkham City and Arkham Asylum for half off at $24.99 and $9.99 respectively.  Also marked down is The Darkness II for $24.99, and Saints Row The Third also at $24.99.

But don't jump on that Saints Row sale just yet, because Gamefly is selling it for slightly less at $22.99!
 
GamersGate.com has two sales right now.  One is an Ides of March sale on 15 strategy games from Paradox Interactive which are marked down by up to 75%.  However, Gamer's Gate is also doing another sale on many more classic RPG and strategy games, including a whopping 95% off sale on the Mac edition of Neverwinter Nights 2.  That less than a buck for this great old Mac game.  Also of note are the Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale games for five dollars each. 

Here's a great catch!  GreenManGaming.com is selling Defenders of Ardania for 30% off.  This is a game that only came out this week, so if you've been eyeing this tower defense title, you can grab it at a big discount at the moment, for $10.49.

However, our BEST DEAL OF THE DAY award goes to Gamer's Gate for selling Neverwinter Nights 2 for Mac at .99!  A must-buy for Mac owners who've yet to experience this classic Obsidian take on Dungeons & Dragons.
