Apparently teasing us up for E3, Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.
The trailer looks rather promising with a decent range of different locales making an appearance along with a graphical style reminiscent of Grand Theft Auto V or Uncharted.
In fact, much of the world traversal showcased in this trailer seems to take inspiration from those games.
These large-scale world, sandboxy kind of games have been coming out like roaches in the dark for a good while now, so it will be interesting to see if Ghost Recon Wildlands will offer anything new to the table.
At the very least, it looks like it might bring the squad-based gameplay into the formula, which should hopefully keep things interesting.
There really isn’t much else to go on from this trailer. The type of world that it tries to showcase has become very familiar by now thanks to games like Far Cry and Metal Gear Solid V. All that’s left to find out is if Ghost Recon can keep it fresh.
If there’s one thing that the “We Are Ghosts” trailer promises, though, it’s that we’ll find out more come E3.
