Kinect. It’s happening. It will feature such innovative and never been done before games such as “Kinect Sports.” And at PAX West, Microsoft announced two new modes for their completely originally title, Boxing and Party Play. Again, original.
The more interesting (my false sense of interest couldn’t be displayed through pressing keys so I’ll just say baaaaaah to signify my extreme interest) of the two modes, Party Play, will apparently be a “tournament-style multiplayer mode that will let your characters dress up like aliens and carrots and stuff.” (Thanks to Destructoid editor Nick Chester for that quote) I’m assuming Party Play will just be their mode that you play when you’re at a party… and you want to play Kinect with friends. Why in God’s name would you want to do that?
Kinect and Kinect Sports will be released November 4th. I’m going to go out on a crazy limb and say buy Dance Central instead of Kinect Sports. In the meantime, watch this seizure inducing, oddly entertaining trailer.
