Might and Magic: Heroes VI Delayed Again

It's bad news for gamers looking forward to the upcoming turn based RPG strategy game Might and Magic: Heroes VI as it's just been delayed again, this time to the 13th of October. The delay comes as a bit of a suprise as it was already delayed earlier this year, originally slated for release in June of this year but got pushed back to the 8th of September.

Ubisoft claimed that the reason for the delay was that they wanted to further polish the game after recieving feedback from the beta earlier this year. A community developer by the name of Ubi_Irina stated:

"During the first phase of the Beta you were very active and provided us with very valuable feedback: your suggestions about general balance, factions balance and bug reports were very useful to us. Thank you!  Thus, we took the decision to delay the release of Might & Magic Heroes VI in order to secure a bit more time for the dev team to take into account your comments and deliver the best quality game."

It's not all bad news; people who have preordered the game will be able to play the next phase of the beta when it reopens on the 16th of August. I myself am a big fan of the Heroes of Might and Magic games and I'm pretty much fine with the delay if it gives me a better game at the end of the day.

Might and Magic: Heroes VI is now slated for release on PC exclusively on the 13th of October.
