PC Digital Download Sales 10/3/10

This week on PC Digital Download Sales, Impulse will be added to the weekly listings. Impulse sales will be counted the same way as Steam and Direct2Drive sales, at 3:00 PM on Sundays. Last week, Civilization V was cleaning house, and that’s still the same here, though not on Impulse. Steam also supported lots of new releases last week, but that’s been quelled a little this week.

For Steam, Team Fortress 2 came back up on the list due to the new Mann-Conomy update, as well as a price drop of 50%. Medal of Honor and Fallout are close to release, so that’s why they are starting to sell. The Sims and Civilization dominated the Direct2Drive sales with deluxe editions and Macintosh ports, and the Impulse audience thoroughly enjoys Sins of a Solar Empire. With the lesser new releases out of the way, Dead Rising 2 came up to the higher regions on all the lists. Impulse has a limited library of games, so we’ll see which of the games on this week’s list are going to stay, and become usuals.
