Sophia Myles joins ‘Transformers 4’

Casting for Transfomers 4 has been gathering speed with many actors joining the cast. Now Michael Bay has tapped up 33-year-old British actress Sophia Myles to join the cast.

The Wasp has reported the news and whilst Paramount Pictures are playing their cards close to their chest the website suspect she will play a major supporting as a scientist. Myles’ previous movie credits include Underworld, the historic romance Tristan & Isolde with James Franco and the adaptation of Thuderbirds. She has also appeared in the ninth series of Spooks (MI-5 in America) and the Doctor Who episode “The Girl in the Fireplace”.


Transformers 4 has an impressive cast so far, contending the likes of Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer and Nicola Peltz. Michael Bay is set return to direct his forth Transformers movie and Ehren Kruger will continue as the series screenwriter.

The plot for Transformers 4 is going to be set four years after the events of “Dark of the Moon” and a group of powerful businessmen and scientists attempt to use and adapt Cybertronian technology for their own ends.

Filming for Transformers 4 is set to start filming in June and it is pencilled in for release on 27 June 2014.
