We were quite impressed with both games in the Witcher series, but were even happier when the first game received its Enhanced Edition that significantly upgraded the game. Next week, The Witcher 2 will receive an equally ambitious upgrade, called the 2.0 patch.
A tutorial will be added, which will help new players survive the brutal initiation that gamers had to suffer through in the early parts of the game at launch. There will also be an Arena Mode for fighting off endless hordes of enemies including Werewolves, plus a new difficulty setting called "Dark Mode" which includes new items.
