Todd, the Ugliest Kid on Earth TV Series Announced

Todd, the Ugliest Kid on Earth is an Image comic book series filled with black comedy. It's popularity was surprising even with an award-winning creative team with the first two issues selling out 24 hours after they were released. Everyone seems to love the ugly little boy with a paper bag over his head. Especially Titmouse Inc., who are making Todd, the Ugliest Kid on Earth into a television series. Titmouse Inc. is a popular animation studio. They are the creators of Venture Brothers, Black Dynamite and Randy Cunningham: Ninth Grade Ninja. Now, Todd, the Ugliest Kid on Earth is being added to the list. The animated series will be developed by two comedy producers, Krysia Plonka and Tracey Baird of Thank You, Brain! Productions. Todd, the Ugliest Kid on Earth TV ShowEisner-nominated artist M.K. Perker (Air, Fables, The Unwritten) and award-winning writer Ken Kristensen (The Amazing Adventures of the Escapist) were the creative team behind the series. They will also be a part in the development of the series. Ken Kristensen says he wasn't surprised by the decision to make Todd into a television show and gives a shout-out to pirates: "When producers of the edgiest comedy on TV want to take on the edgiest comedy in comics, it's a no-brainer... Plus, Internet pirates have been complaining that there aren't enough forms of media through which they can steal our little bag-headed bastard. Well, pirates — you're welcome."
