‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ and ‘Ant Man’ Cameo Rumors

The recently leaked, then actually released, trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron, shows an incredibly expansive film, with images from (seemingly) around the globe. Epic battle scenes are hinted at, and there is even the addition of the trademark Marvel humor (in the linked trailer, there are several floating around). The creepy vocal stylings of James Spader make Ultron a very formidable opponent, if not simply a very managing one. In a recent interview with The Telegraph, Idris Elba slyly admitted his appearance in the newest Avengers film. Not only confirming that his character, Heimedall, would make an appearance, but that the scene he had been shooting co-starred Hemsworth (Thor) and Tom Hiddleston (Loki). Elba said, quote: "I’m in Avengers [...] And I’m doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston" end quote. None of the current trailers are hinting at any kind of return to Valhalla, and even so, with Loki being presumed dead (yet really posing as Oden) after Thor: The Dark World, things become even more complicated on where the fiendish twister will re-appear. In some more spoiler-rific news, Ant-Man has sent out a casting call (via Project Casting) for a body double to stand in for Hayely Atwell in the 2015 film. As Captain America's sweetheart Peggy Carter, Atwell was last seen as the elderly Carter in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It will be interesting to see where Atwell fits into the Ant-Man storyline, and even more so, what other characters from S.H.I.E.L.D. she might accompany her into the mix.
