Bond 24 Finds its Henchman

"Dave Bautista set to become the villain in the still-untitled Bond 24"
Dave Bautista Arrives to Jimmy Kimmel Live A few weeks ago, it was announced that the producers of the upcoming Bond 24 are looking for a brand new villain/henchman in the vein of "old school" Bond. In a story published by James Bond Radio, producers had the following to say about the villain they are calling "Hinx":

"We are looking to follow in the tradition of JAWS and ODDJOB in finding an iconic baddy. Ideally over 6′ 2″. Hinx is the main henchman/assassin. We are looking for an imposing extremely physically fit actor. He has several fights with Bond and will have to have stunt training. He has to drive. We are looking for someone very unusual, possibly from a sports background."

Keeping in line with the reversion to original Bond standards seen in Skyfall, it seems like Bond 24 will be a film to be reckoned with. Moneypenny, Q-Branch up and running, Ralph 'Effing Feinnes as M, AND a brand new henchman? Here I thought good Bond died in the 90's...

Today, Latino Review has an exclusive, stating that their sources confirmed Bond 24 has cast its villain - the physically-imposing Dave Bautista. Freshly off of his role in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Bautista seems like the perfect fit for a re-vamp of the classic henchman. Measuring in at 6'6" 290lbs, Bautista will have no problem looking larger-than-life next to his Bond counterpart, the 5'10" Daniel Craig. Trained in acrobatic wrestling, and stage combat, Bautista would prove to be a formidable foe for even the most life-hardened Bond.

Slated for release in November of next year, Bond 24 is sure to draw in a crowd of both, Bond junkies, and those new to the franchise.
