Call of Duty: Ghosts Launch Trailer Confirms Next-Gen Upgrade Plan

In traditional fashion, Activision and Infinity Ward has released the launch trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts weeks in advance as the sequel is still coming out on November 5th on current-gen consoles and PC. The trailer, which also features a new track from the Eminem album that is also coming out next month, showcases most of the campaign, but also revealed plans of an upgrade plan for those planning to play on both current and next-gen consoles.

Some of the other highly anticipated games such as Battlefield 4 and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag have upgrade plans and it is not surprising that Call of Duty is following suit. The hook with Ghosts' upgrade plan for $10 is that your stats and achievements will carry over to the next-gen version assuming you're upgrading from the 360 to the Xbox One and from the PS3 to the PS4. That alone will entice Call of Duty fans that are getting either of the new systems at their respective launch dates.

The launch trailer is available to watch above as Call of Duty: Ghosts will be finally released on November 5th for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii U, and PC. Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions will also be out the same day as their respective launch dates. Is the upgrade plan enough for Call of Duty players to jump into the next generation?
