Check Out 35 Minutes of Glorious Gameplay for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

"The Witcher 3 is looking to push the phrase "open world" to new heights"
One of the biggest delays for me this year was the one of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. From the very first reveal I knew that this game couldn't come out soon enough and I needed to get my grubby hands on it as soon as humanly possibly. While the delay was disappointing, it is quite clear that the extra time is being put to very good use in this new 35 minute gameplay footage.
Right from the start it, goes without saying that The Witcher 3's visuals are simply jaw dropping. Not even the heavy compression on the Youtube video can cover up that this game is stunning and could very well be the best looking video game ever when it fully releases.
The visuals can only complement the true expansive nature of the world. From the initial forest setting to the city and lastly the swamp, every environment drips with atmosphere and ambiance. It already stands as a visual masterpiece and this is but three areas of an incredibly massive world.
At one point during the video they mention that it would take 15 to 20 minutes to travel between a location, that DOES NOT even cover the entire map. The Witcher 3 seems to be aiming for a world much larger than anything we have ever seen, whether it will be filled with interesting things to do is yet to be determined however.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is scheduled to launch February 24th, 2015 on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
