Turn off the Lights

First Pic from Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

I was never sold on the idea of rebooting Planet of the Apes, not that it was this sacred cow, but I didn't think there was any point to it. When I finally got around to seeing the 2011 hit, I kicked myself for not having seen the film in theatres. Now, Director Matt Reeves (CloverfieldLet Me In) has tweeted a photo of principal photography and its pretty awesome.

Seeing Jason Clarke (Zero Dark ThirtyLawless) being confronted by Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings) who played Ceasar in the first film, truly shows how this film is certainly uping the ante and and showing some nice nods to the original series. While we practically have to wait an entire year for this film to come out, you can certainly bet that we're excited to see what happens in this next iteration of the Apes franchise!
