Earlier this week, we had reported here on EF, that John C. Reilly was going to be in the new Marvel Studios film, Guardians of the Galaxy. Deadline now reports that Glenn Close has a possible role in the film, much in the same vein as Samuel L. Jackson has in The Avengers. 
It seems as though she would be joining ranks amongst the Nova Corps in the film, much like the same role that John C. Reilly is up for. Just like Reilly, Close is a brilliant actress and a wonderful choice as an addition to Guardians and would certainly brings the same prestige that Anthony Hopkins brought to Marvel's Thor. Filming for the production begins in a few weeks and there might be even more casting news to report in the time to come.
