Hugh Jackman Offered $100 Million to keep playing Wolverine

Hugh Jackman's contribution to the X-Men franchise just got a whole lot bigger, where a rumor is going around that the actor is being offered a $100 million, to reprise the Wolverine character in four more films. Via Cinema Blend, The Wolverine star was offered this by Fox, but its still just a rumor for now. With Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of the Future Past coming out next year, it makes sense that Fox is trying to keep movement going on the only worthwhile franchise they have from Marvel.

While its certainly tempting, I'm sure that there's a reason why nothing is confirmed yet from Hugh Jackman yet. Sure, its a really nice paycheck, but there a large commitment for not only himself as the character, but to his physical shape as well. Whether its continuing the
X franchise or continue on Wolverine's standalone stories, there's plenty of things to tell and we'll see what happens if these rumors turn out to be true.
