Jennifer Garner’s The Whole Shebang Comes To FOX

Jennifer Garner is heading back to the small screen. This time, she will be behind the camera and producing with her company Vandalia films, along with Warner Brothers TV. The new show, The Whole Shebang, has been given put pilot commitment at FOX and will be written by Jason Micallef. Garner has previously worked with Micallef on the film Butter, released in 2011, which she starred in. Jennifer Garner previously appeared on TV in the series Alias, which also aired on FOX. Since then, she has appeared in a number of films including Daredevil, where she met her husband Ben Affleck.

The new drama will focus on a new single soccer mom who inherits a rundown male strip club. Unexpectedly, she finds herself at the center of a dysfunctional family, forcing her to take charge of her life. None of the cast has been announced yet, but this main character sounds a bit like Nancy Botwin from Showtime's Weeds, with the exception that she will be managing a strip club instead of dealing pot. One can expect that she can get in similar situations while managing the business and trying to take care of her family at the same time. In addition to this new project, Jennifer Garner will be one of the stars of the film Dallas Buyers Club, which comes out in November.
