Jennifer Lawrence may join ‘The Hateful Eight’

From the risk of Quentin Tarantino cancelling his next project The Hateful Eight, a Western that will make film fans squeal with excitement, there is now movement on the casting front. The rumor is a top actress may take on one of the main female role: Jennifer Lawrence. Collider broke the news that the Academy Award winning actress is in talk to join the Western and may play either "The Prisoner" Daisy Domegue or Six-Horse Judy. Amber Tamblyn and Zoe Bell read the roles during a live reading of the screenplay a few months ago. SC_D11_02752 Lawrence is one of the best actresses of her generation, winning the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Silver Linings Playbook and been nominated for her performances in Winter's Bone and American Hustle. She also has leading roles in two major franchises, The Hunger Games and X-Men. It would be a match made in heaven for film fans, Lawrence would work with a fan favorites' director and Tarantino gets to direct another talented thespian. Lawrence will appear on screens again in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay and the drama Serena with Bradley Cooper. She is set to reunite with director David O. Russell in the drama Joy about Joy Mangano, a struggling single mother who become a wealthy inventor. She will reprise her role of Mystique in X-Men: Apocalypse. The Hateful Eight is set to be released in December 2015.
