Another week, another announcement from DC that comics from its New 52 initiative are being reprinted. Superman #1, written by George Perez with art by Jesus Merino, is going to be reprinted for a third time. It’s odd that there is such demand for issue #1 when DC has already realized a hard cover with all the New 52 #1s and the trades collecting the first set of issues will be released very soon. Justice League #6, with story by Geoff Johns and art by Jim Lee, will be going back for its first reprinting. Interestingly, DC mentions that issues 1, 4, and 5 have had reprintings. Did DC print enough copies of issues 2 and 3 or did fans not decide to collect those issues? Both Superman and Justice League reprints will be available on 2 May.
