Kingdom Hearts III’s D23 Japan Trailer Shows Off More Gameplay

The D23 Japan Expo not only had the announcement of Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMIX by Square-Enix and Disney, but also new footage of Kingdom Hearts III for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

The new clip below shows off more gameplay starring Sora, Donald, and Goofy as half of it takes place in one of the known towns in the series while the other half involves a boss-like creature and a roller coaster train. New enemies and gameplay mechanics are also teased in the video, but even with this out, there is still lots of learn about this highly anticipated sequel, especially with the storyline, since it is still early in development. At least it proves that there has been progress since its initial E3 announcement earlier this year.

No release window has been announced yet for Kingdom Hearts III for both the Playstation 4 and Xbox One, but it is still ways off from this latest gameplay trailer. With both this and Final Fantasy XV still in the works by Tetsuya Nomura's team at Square-Enix, I won't be surprised if one or even both of them are released sometime in 2015. Does this new gameplay footage increase your excitement for the long awaited sequel? The comments are available below for your reactions.
