The Order: 1886 Gets Delayed Till 2015

Rumors of a delay for Sony's hotly anticipated exclusive have been swirling around for quite some time but we finally have a confirmation. Ready at Dawn's new title, The Order: 1886 has officially been delayed until early 2015.
"To deliver that experience that we've wanted, and that we hope players expect, we're targeting an early 2015 release on the game," says Ru Weerasuriya, the game's creative director. "...We're really trying to hone in on getting the whole game to that level of polish."

It is a bummer that we won't get to see what The Order: 1886 has in store for us but the announcement isn't all that surprising. The Order is pretty much following suit with a dozen of other games that are all being delayed until next year. It certainly is a blow to the Playstation 4, but nothing that can't be overcome. Comparing the games lineup for Sony and its main competitor, Microsoft, there really aren't that many "system selling" games hitting for either console until 2015. It still is looking to hit before Halo 5 drops which still puts it in an advantageous position.
How do you take this recent delay? Is it a sign that things aren't quite turning out as planned or is it simply for polishing purposes? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
