Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Dead at 46

Legendary actor, Phillip Seymour Hoffman (Boogie NightsThe Big Lebowski) was found dead in his apartment home earlier today, at the age of 46. The New York Times  and  plenty of other sites reported that he was found by a close friend of his, after they had not heard from the actor in quite sometime.

Hoffman won an Academy Award in 2006, for his performance in Capote, where he played famous author Truman Capote. His latest endeavors included The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and a Showtime TV series Happyish, that was soon to premier this year.  His death apparently comes from a drug overdose, but New York City investigators and the city medical examiner have yet to determine the actual cause of death.

He will surely be missed...
