Twilight Eclipse Gets An 8-Bit Epic

I guess I’ve seen people spend time on stranger things, but this is still really, really strange. This fellow here’s crafted a Twilight Eclipse 8-bit epic, spanning multiple YouTube videos with enough branching paths to warrant two to three playthroughs. Well, not really play, but rather, just to witness how things will pan out. Spoilers: It always ends with people dying.

It’s certainly a game that something like the Twilight series does not deserve, but it’s fun nonetheless. I’m sure the line for Eclipse has already circled around my block and the closest movie theater from where I live is at least 10 miles away. Blergh.

True Blood – It Hurts Me Too

A strange installment in the series, not simply in the way the episode ends, which even for True Blood is pretty disturbing, but rather due to its inconsistency. The third series has yet to take hold and It Hurts Me Too, unfortunately makes little ground but is somewhat saved by some incredibly shocking imagery and a greater focus on action.

Durant Scores NBA Elite 11 Cover

2010 NBA Scoring Champion and All-Star, Kevin Durant, has been named cover athlete of EA Sports revamped basketball franchise NBA Elite 11 (formerly NBA Live). Durant is hot off the heels of a break-out season in which he scored 30.1 points per game, shot 48% from the field, and shot a stellar 90% from the free throw line. Durant is one of only three EA Sports cover athletes to be featured on both an NCAA and Pro game cover, having been cover athlete of 2008’s installment of NCAA March Madness. This has certainly been a big year for the newly renamed franchise, which also added new Creative Director David Littman from EA Sports NHL franchise. Durant joins Super Bowl MVP Drew Brees, Tiger Woods, Fedor Emelianenko, Randy Couture, Tim Teebow, and Stanley Cup Champion Johnathon Toews as a member of the 2010 class of EA Sports cover athletes.
