Titanfall’s Release Date Officially Announced

Ever since it was first revealed at E3 earlier this year, Titanfall has been the most anticipated game for the next generation and arguably the game to get on Xbox One. Respawn Entertainment has finally announced it's release date and Titanfall is coming out on March 11, 2014 for the Xbox One, PC, and the Xbox 360 at North America while Europeans get it two days later.

The shooter has been getting numerous game of the show awards at E3, PAX, Gamescom, and many more. Everything we seen so far seems to be a breath of fresh air for the genre compared to Call of Duty and Battlefield. With Titanfall and Destiny next year, the stage is definitely set for the first-person shooter to head into new and exciting directions. Respawn has also announced a collector's edition for Titanfall, which costs $250 featuring an eighteen inch titan statue with diorama and LED lighting, art book with lots of concept art, and a full-size Titan poster.

There are still many rumors about Titanfall's "timed exclusivity" with a Playstation 4 version in the works, but we will wait till Respawn says something regarding those rumors soon. Titanfall is now coming out for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on March 11, 2014. Are you one of many that will hold out on buying a Xbox One till March because of this announcement?
