TV News Tidbits: Wardrobe Malfunction, Browncoats, and More

Business News
During a very busy week for the U.S. Supreme Court, the justices upheld a ruling from a lower court on the "Wardrobe Malfunction" case involving CBS. For those not familiar with the case (and who could blame you? It happened eight years ago), it's the result of the U.S. government law suit against CBS for showing Janet Jackson's nipple for 9/16th of a second during Super Bowl 2004. The SCOTUS made CBS almost as happy as proponents of the health care law by ruling that the network didn't have to pay the $550,000 fine.

Casting News
NBC's Revolution has enlisted Daniella Alonso (One Tree Hill, Friday Night Lights) as "a rebel fighter battling against the militia that controls North America". Revolution is the peacock network's post apocalyptic drama which sounds more and more like Falling Skies, well that is if you forget about the aliens of course.

Fan-Favorite Shows News
When Game of Thrones will return to production for season three in a few days, it will be adding a new location, Morocco. The new site is required for the mother of dragons (Daenerys Targaryen) who will definitely need much more room. The show will keep filming in Ireland, Croatia, and Iceland. What's more, G.R.R. Martin (who penned the season two episode "Blackwater") will write again for the series!

Browncoats rejoice! Joss Whedon, Nathan Fillion and the rest of the Serenity crew (except for Jewel "Kaylee" Staite) will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Firefly at San Diego Comic-Con as members of a Science Channel panel.
