Gran Turismo Sport’s Release Date Announced

"The PS4's first Gran Turismo finally gets a date"
Ever since it was announced at Gamescom last year, Polyphony Digital has been quiet regarding Gran Turismo Sport. The spinoff based on Sony's long running series finally got shown off today at an event in London's Copper Box Arena. Along with announcing a November 15th release date for the Playstation 4, they also revealed a new trailer, which you can see below. Other than a collector's edition, Gran Turismo Sport has the expected modes previous games in the series had with a lengthy campaign and arcade mode as well as a livery editor and social features that were briefly demonstrated last year. Offline mode alone will have 117 events. There also 137 cars to drive, nineteen locales and 27 layouts slated to make the final game. From the trailer, I do like the improvements to the UI during races and the fact it is a trimmed down Gran Turismo can be for the better. The core games have taken forever to come out and perhaps focusing on certain cars or style of racing is the better approach considering Polyphony's passion for cars. It obviously looks beautiful to no surprise and I'm curious to see Playstation VR support for it along with running it on the rumored "Neo" upgrade. Gran Turismo Sport comes out on November 15th and I'm sure we will see more of this at E3 next month.
