The Wrap reports that Tom Cruise is going to once again accept another mission as Ethan Hunt, with Mission Impossible V set to be released on Christmas Day of 2015. Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher, Way of the Gun) is set to direct with a script from Drew Pearce (Iron Man 3). 
What makes this news interesting is that this is one week before Star Wars: Episode VII is set to be released. While this may have the chance to be pushed both back or forward, it certainly makes for a bold move for the latest in the franchise. While Tom Cruise is locked in, there's no word on whether Simon Pegg, Paula Patton or Jeremy Renner shall be returning for the latest installment.
