Sony & Superbot Delays Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale To November

Sony and Superbot have announced that Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale is not making its original October 23 release. Sony's take on Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. franchise is now delayed to November 20 in time for Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Their reasons for the delay are that the game needs more polish and balance tuning. In addition, they are incorporating feedback they got from the private beta that has been going on for some weeks. The new date does cause a bit of concern, because it could easily be overlooked due to bigger games out that month such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. The Wii U's November launch could also damper sales for Sony's fighting game hope.

Superbot has also said that they are planning a public beta before its release for those that did not get into the private one. The remaining cast and stages were leaked a couple weeks back, but they will be slowly be official starting with Gamescom this week. Strategy videos have been released lately featuring the characters that have been revealed so far. Kratos's video is below, but there are videos for Parappa the Rapper, Radec from Killzone, Sweet Tooth, Sly Cooper, and Fat Princess available on the Playstation's official YouTube channel. Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale comes out on November 20 only for the Playstation 3.
