FX offspring comedy network, FXX, has announced the premiere dates of its flagship comedies. The network will be making its debut on September 2nd and will air former FX series, It’s Always Funny in Philadelphia, The League, Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell, and Legit.

HBO’s True Blood missed the mark with its sixth episode, “Fuck the Pain Away.” A mess of disconnected storylines saw Billith take control of Warlow, Sookie attacked by a possessed Lafayette, and Jessica, Pam, Tara, and Eric captured and taken to Vampire Camp. While the storylines remained largely static, there were some bright spots amid the chaos, but the episode was largely a disappointment.
Writer of the popular Vampire Chronicles books which featured Lestat, Anne Rice’s religious novel Christ the Lord: The Road to Cana will be made into it’s second graphic novelization. If the Kickstarter reaches it’s $48,000 goal, that is.

TV fans will not be dissapointed by the selection, which ranges from long-running favorites like Dexter, True Blood, and Dr. Who to newcomers like Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Sleepy Hollow, and Banshee.
HBO’s vampire drama True Blood premiered its sixth season last night, garnering an audience of 4.5 million viewers. While viewership was down from the previous season’s premiere, the series’ numbers are still a success for the cable channel.
