Black Ops Multiplayer

Now that the future of Infinity Ward is in doubt, Treyarch is pulling no punches in an attempt to permanently snag the Call of Duty franchise. Today they released a multiplayer teaser for upcoming mega-title Black Ops, full of guns, dead men, and most importantly…explosions. The Monitor: Week 2

The floodgates have been fully opened, and the Halo news is pouring out. Just as predicted, this week has been full of surprises, and it’s safe to say the Halo hype train is chuggin’ along at full speed. However, with just over a month until Reach’s release, we’re entering dangerous ground. With constant Halo info comes the risk of possible leaks and spoilers. Trailer Tracker: Yogi Bear, Don’t be Afraid of the Dark

But, soft! What light through yonder window breaks? It is Trailer Tracker, where we at Player Affinity scour the internet for the best new clips. Breaking into the last month of summer we visit Jellystone Park and a duo of troublesome pick-a-nick-basket lovers in Yogi Bear, see if you’re afraid of the dark with the Guillermo Del Toro written horror flick and drive angry with Nicolas Cage in the new 3-D actioner. We’ll wrap things up with Trust starring Clive Owen and directed by David Schwimmer and finally things get saucy with the red band clip for The Virginity Hit.

Dirt 3 Announced, Snowy

Arguably the best racing game last year, Dirt 2, is getting another installment. I don’t find this too surprising but that doesn’t change the fact that I’m incredibly excited for Dirt 3. In the teaser trailer, they don’t reveal too much apart from the fact that we will be traversing many different environments. You can view the trailer below, it’s quite fantastic if I may say so myself.

August used to be a terrible month for films, but over the last few years, huge successes have been born here. Comedies in particular have found new life in August. In 2007, Superbad opened to critical acclaim and $33 million. In 2008, Pineapple Express and Tropic Thunder found a solid measure of success.
