Image Teases New Title

Top Cow Voting Open Now!

Just because November 2 has passed doesn’t mean your vote have to stop voting. Top Cow Productions, Inc. is proud to announce that the voting polls for Pilot Season 2010 are now open, allowing readers to vote for their favorite title out of the five one-shots that were put out at this past month.

Polling stations are now set up at the Top Cow site (www.topcow.com) with additional polling stations to appear on various comics news sites, blogs and social media platforms. Readers can vote multiple times a day up until the polls close on November 30, 2010.Pilot Season is an annual initiative Top Cow began in 2007 that borrows its concept from the television industry: “Pilots” are submitted for consideration to be “picked up for a season,” except instead of TV executives deciding their fates; it’s the fans who decide by voting online.

Lady Mechanika #0 to Reprint

Not even being a numbered part of the series, Joe Benitez’s latest creator-owned series Lady Mechanika #0 has sold out within a few days of its release. Lady Mechanika is a Steam-punk, action, fantasy series based in the late 1800’s London where paranormal activities are a frequent occurence. The titular character, Lady Mechanika, being part human and part robot with no recollection of her past solves these issues with her wide range of gadgetry and weapons. Lady Mechanika is written by Joe Benitez (Soulfire, Wraithborn) and colors by acclaimed colorist Peter Steigerwald (Brightest Day, Ultimate X).

Skullkickers #2 Gets a 2nd Print

After issue 1 rampaged off shelves and into the hearts and minds of comic fans, SKULLKICKERS #2 follows suit with a distribution-level sell out! Demand for SKULLKICKERS is soaring, so Image Comics has ordered a second printing of the pulse-pounding second issue. It will be in stores November 10, 2011.

SKULLKICKERS scribe Jim Zubkavich (POPGUN, Street Fighter Legends: Ibuki) says, “When the gang at Image contacted me to let me know that issue #2 had blown through its overprint right after release, I couldn’t believe it. My friend Joe Vriens sent a pin-up we intended to put in the back of our next issue, but we quickly drafted that sweet piece as our second print #2 cover.”
